Today, a double-header.

First on the agenda, two more chapters of Goodbye to all That… in which our former starlet meets Will Chaney’s steady girlfriend..

Second, in honor of what would have been my father’s 94th birthday today (January 12), a story he wrote about a Welsh surveyor’s adventure in the early Ohio country.

By the way, my father shares a birthday with an infamous historical figure. It had been my habit to call my mother on January 12th to mark the occasion for the better part of the past twenty years. The occasion is a family “in” joke. I say a little more about it in the audio portion of my father’s story.
