It’s all the fault of cerfveve.

Seriously, the better half and I took a couple of days to recharge and refresh at The Hideaway Ranch and Retreat.

Last week, we started The Jumpstart Discoveries by introducing Christopher Michaels on a night/early morning when his space is invaded by a young woman in apparent distress. This week, we meet that young woman, Chloe Thompson, through her own eyes as she recalls the events which led her to Christopher’s doorway in the first place.

By the way, I sight-read the chapters instead of rehearsing them (in most instances). Today’s reading includes a line which will not appear in the book.. “He had no idea who he was.” Just as a point of reference, you see.
