Continuing on my ongoing novel, Epiphany. Chapters one and two are still available!

Here is the second installment of Epiphany – a work in progress.

I’ve paid my money now I’ll take my chances.

A month and a half ago, I initiated a WordPress account as a way to better promote my writing. Today, I’m taking an important step. Presuming that the charges “took”, I’m able to start sharing my latest work – Epiphany.

Keep in mind that the technology I’m using is new to me and that much of what you hear is off the cuff (well, except for the story). Let’s Explore, shall we?

Words.

Words are the tools used by every author to stimulate the reader’s imagination.

Format and content are just as important as the words themselves.

I write like I talk, and that’s one thing you need to know about me and the words I write.

Let me introduce myself. I’m bdharrell.

My use of the moniker bdharrell is quite deliberate – from the lack of capitalization to the lack of punctuation. It’s used as a branding technique – a positioning statement if you will. The use has been with me for a while and will be with me for a while longer.

Same with the use of my words.

I’ve dealt with words ever since… well, since at least high school. Only recently have I considered publishing some of my words to be unleashed on the public at large.

Words on the radio are out there – I spent a number of years working in radio, most successfully as a copywriter pitching anything from animal feed to new cars.

In the past five years, I have branched out – writing longer stories, novellas and the odd novel or two.

We will get to those in a bit.

Right now, this is my very first post.

Come back soon and I will tell you more about me, what I do, and, well, I may even post a story, or parts of a story.
